The Australian Songwriters Association (ASA) Top 10 have been listed for 2008. Damian Coen's heartfelt, moving song In My Father's Footsteps, on his newest album, We Gotta Move has been selected in the TOP 10 as one of the best "Instrumental" Songs for 2008.



Other songs to be shortlisted were: Holy Water (Spiritual); Hot Tin Roof (Open) and Tsunami (Folk Acoustic).

The Awards Night is Thursday 28 August.

Damian's new album, We Gotta Move, will be released in Australia via Planet/MGM on the 19th April, 2008. What this means is that the album will now be available at most all record shops throughout Australia and New Zealand. In addition to We Gotta Move, his previous album Six Lane Highway (2004) will also be distributed under Planet/MGM on the 19th.
